Cat and Kieran’s effortlessly chic and incredibly gorgeous wedding at the Stables of Bendooley Estate in Berrima where their super sweet 3 year old daughter Stella stole the show, and an evening storm made for some incredible rainy night shots.
I can’t even begin to describe the day Joey and Chris we’re married. Deep in the heart of the Blue Mountains is a gorgeous little airbnb called Kookawood at Rydal that is brimming with quirky character and the most spectacular views and it was here that Joey and Chris invited their two best friends to be their witnesses as they promised to love each other always. We spent a little while taking some photos around the incredible property and then for two people who had grown up in the mountains – their one dream for their wedding day was to watch the sunset sitting on the edge of Lincoln’s Rock at Wentworth Falls together.
We had the best afternoon with Hillary and Joe at their gorgeous engagement shoot at the Wollongong Botanic Gardens. We love shooting in the gardens because it’s always so beautiful and so different every time of year. These guys are just so beautiful together. It’s just made us even more excited for their wedding at Gunners Barracks next month!
This day. This perfect day. Weather is just weather. Just because it’s raining – doesn’t mean that you can’t still have your dreamed about outdoor ceremony. Rain is magical. And umbrellas exist. Just because its raining doesn’t mean that you can’t traipse across a muddy open field and enjoy every moment with your best friend […]
I absolutely loved exploring one of our favourite areas in the Royal National Park with Amy and Vanessa. I can hardly believe such gorgeousness is so close to the city and it definitely reminds me that we have to get out there more and explore what Sydney has to offer – we are SO lucky. […]
You won’t find two kinder people on the planet than Ishani and Ruwan. I promise you that. We were more than grateful to be there on the day that they married. There’s honestly nothing that makes us more thrilled than capturing connections and what Ishani and Ruwan did was trust us implicitly.. when we said.. […]
I can hardly believe it’s been 12 months since we watched Krystle and Hamish said I do under the most gorgeous old tree in front of all of their loved ones. I remember the epic storm that threatened to wreak havoc with the location portraits and how we just went with it as the rain […]
It seems most likely that Australia will be facing a postal ‘survey’ to help determine whether same sex couples should legally be able to marry in Australia. For us and so many other couples this is both a difficult and hopeful time.. making that commitment to another person in front of your closest people is […]
I’ve been living in and around Newtown for close to 15 years. The area has my heart.. It’s a cultural and artistic melting pot and one of the few spaces that everyone feels able to express themselves and love freely. We were so excited to finally have a wedding here and I couldn’t have picked […]
There is a term floating around wedding circles .. “the unicorn wedding”. If I could think back to some of our favourite weddings in the last year, one that always comes to mind is the day that Charlene and Chris were married in an ancient rainforest in the most beautiful, sentimental and sacred ceremony surrounded […]
