It seems most likely that Australia will be facing a postal ‘survey’ to help determine whether same sex couples should legally be able to marry in Australia. For us and so many other couples this is both a difficult and hopeful time.. making that commitment to another person in front of your closest people is so special and important. To have these relationships recognised in the same way as our parents relationships and other friends and families relationships are recognised … well that would just mean so much.
Carly and Christie held their wedding early last year and we came along to capture all the love. Their marriage is not currently legally recognised in Australia but voting yes for marriage equality might hopefully change that.  Check out the images below and maybe look at some of the other weddings we’ve posted recently and ask yourself… what’s so different?
