It was to be a quintessential Hunter Valley Wedding. A love story about a boy who loved a girl, and that girl who said “Yes!” and together they gathered their family and friends in arguably one of the most beautiful parts of Australia for a day of celebration – of real love, and memories unfolding all at once. I cannot talk enough about how obsessively passionate I am about couples who so openly express their love to each other in ways that are all about who they are. It makes my heart sing.

When we turned up the long driveway to Lauren’s brother’s home on the outskirts of Broke that morning and saw the vintage dresser sitting beneath a huge Eucalyptus tree in the front paddock, a tapestry chair sat beside it… we grinned at each other and exclaimed.. oh it’s going to be a brilliant day..

And that it was.
