“We are getting married at the Manhattan Super Bowl”. the email said.

Before writing back that we are photographers based in Sydney, Australia and we’d need to charge some serious travel to get all the way to Manhattan for their wedding … I thought I’d just do a quick Google search just to be sure there wasn’t in fact a Manhattan Super Bowl – in Sydney. There is.. It’s a crazy cool retro bowling alley, in Mascot.

Cue me jumping up and down like a crazy lady.

You see Hayley and Dane are the quintessence of cool and I’m pretty sure they are vying for most awesome unique FUN place to have their perfect rockabilly wedding.

This day was an absolute reflection of these two and their amazing circle of family and friends. The level of detail and care that went into each and every part of the day really was fantastic. We loved heading to Guys and Dolls in Redfern, for some seriously awesome men’s styling by genius Tommy J, and the girls we’re brilliantly made up by the fab girls from Dolls and Dames (girls please come show me how to do such awesome hair!).

We loved that all of their guests got on board with the rockabilly theme, the mini burgers served for dinner and we adored that one of Hayley’s closest friends was able to attend via Skype conference. There is nothing more perfect than a couple doing a wedding day their way…  and we we’re so stoked to be a part of it all.
