Sitting down to write about Anna and Ian’s wedding day and I’m feeling somewhat overcome. Words escape me. I believe that when you find yourself in the right place doing things from your heart – people like Anna and Ian will walk into your life and give you the opportunity to be part of something much more than you can have dreamed of. A day that we all felt so alive, inspired and at ease with ourselves we created images that speak right to our core.

Anna and Ian are individually immensely creative and wanted a day that was both rich in sentiment and all handmade. Things become extraordinary when you go deeper. When the gifts you give your bridesmaids are necklaces of their favourite image of you together, and the gifts you give your groomsmen are hand etched personalised drawings on hip flasks you’ve done yourself and you tell your parents exactly how thankful you are and you give your guests the opportunity to cheer and cheer LOUDLY – they will show you just how amazing you are, how they feel about you.. and a beautiful wedding day..becomes a truly remarkable wedding day. A day that was personal, unique, a great labor of love, and heartfelt.

Anna and Ian  are two strong independent individuals who have grown up together, seen each other through it all and love each other more and more everyday. I believe in love stories like theirs. I believe that friendship is the foundation for every incredible relationship.  Their wedding showed us more than they could ever know – the importance of true raw love that is contagious. It was about family, it was about those that matter most, it was about everyone sharing time with one another. Their wedding was about love in every sense of the word.

To all of you beautiful people we met on that day – we think you’re some kind of wonderful! Thank you so much for allowing us to capture such a special day. To walk away with such amazing memories and beautiful friendships is so fantastic.
