A Wedding Day is as you make it, at its core is two people in love and the affirmation from the people they’ve chosen to share the day with. A marriage is the ongoing connection and commitment the couple share to the exclusion of all others.   The rest is up to you. 

Bronwyn and Nick have been together for 10 years and have 2 beautiful children, Oscar and Amelia. Their memories are carved into the moments they’ve shared and the lifetime they’ve created amid their remarkable community of family and friends.  They have something pretty special together. Their connection is as unique as it is real and meaningful. They are grounded in a mutual respect  and a way of being that makes each other stronger and challenges them to be the best version of themselves. Perhaps they were already married long before their wedding day…

They chose to make their family official though, they wanted to publicly commit to one another, and so they took the countless views of what should constitute a wedding day and made a day so perfect in its simplicity and so rich in its purpose -they blew us completely away.

Bron’s INSANE dress was crafted meticulously by her mother, she made the one of a kind bouquet herself with her grandmother’s lace, and they left friends to decorate the reception with individually arranged wild flowers.  They chose to not really have a bridal party – but Bron told her two best friends to wear blue and they spent the day together. Still, Bron and Nick decided that even without an ‘official bridal party’ they wanted to have pictures taken with their closest circle of friends and it was the most perfect bridal party we’d ever seen. Genuine. Individuals.

They spent a half hour playing with their gorgeous kids after the ceremony before we stole them away to wonder the vast grounds of the Heide Museum of Modern Art (couldn’t we get lost there for days!) . The guests chose to create an impromptu bubble entrance for them when the rejoined them at Cafe Vue and the laid back cocktail reception that followed  was filled  with fantastically funny speeches and  so much dancing.
